Bold Standard

Artist Kathleen Grebe founded Bold Standard after a career as design director for multiple well known brands, seeking artistic freedom without compromise. Armed with a laser cutter, she began creating contemporary art jewelry using bold color, contrast, and sometimes typography and the written word. She values sustainability and uses recycled materials whenever possible, including in shipping and packaging. Her work can be found in museum stores across the country. She is also our neighbor - both Kathleen and Harold & Hazel hail from Raleigh, North Carolina. We love Kathleen's work; she is a true artist who has chosen a very accessible medium so that anyone can wear art that makes a statement without taking out a second mortgage!
