Barberry Pearl Earrings
Barberry, or berberine, has been used by humans around the world for hundreds of years. European barberry is used to make jams and jellies, wines, and was even used in medieval medicines. In the United States, it's commonly seen as a foundation shrub - our home has three barberry bushes in front of our porch.
These lovely earrings, cast from a real sprig of barberry and set with small freshwater pearls. hang from a hypoallergenic gold filled ear wire, and ship in a gift box with a small card from the artist.
