Tiered Amethyst Earrings
The amethysts in these earrings really are the star of the show, although the garnet and peridot make a lovely contrast to the intense purple. The setting is made with silver granulation - tiny spheres of silver that are hand-soldered to the gemstone settings. They swing from sterling silver ear wires.
They are made for us by a family-owned and operated silversmith in Jaipur, India, who has been making sterling silver and gemstone jewelry for over forty years. They're really nice people too. :-)
