William Morris Leicester Earrings
Leicester, the inspiration for these earrings, is a pattern created in 1911 by John Henry Dearle for William Morris. Dearle's contributions to textile design were long overshadowed by the towering figure of William Morris. Dearle exhibited early patterns under the Morris name, and even today many Dearle designs are popularly offered as William Morris patterns.
These earrings are made from solid brass plated with gold, and giclée printed with the design. They hang from gold plated ear wires and come gift boxed with a card sharing their history.
