Two delicate brass forms hang in balance: a leafy canopy above and a blooming tulip below, each woven with tiny glass seed beads in shades of emerald, honey, coral, and glowing sunset orange.
The design begins with the artist and is brought to life in a fair trade workshop in Guatemala, where skilled artisans hand-weave the beadwork into the brass frame. That careful craftsmanship gives the earrings their intricate texture and vibrant personality.
They hang about 2½ inches including the ear wire, yet weigh only 2 grams each, making them wonderfully lightweight for their size. The open brass structure lets light pass through while the colorful beads add just the right burst of energy.
